“As a newcomer to living in Los Angeles, Prospex Park is a response to the sense of wonder and oddity that the city evokes in someone who is an outsider looking in. Everything is familiar yet strangely alien.

I’ve been exploring well worn American cultural themes that I grew up being fascinated by from afar - the US suburb, the wild West and now the uniquely American obsession with UFOs - reflecting them back from an outsider’s perspective, kind of as a way to process and fit in to my new life here.

AI always struck me as the perfect medium for this as, like me, the AI is an outsider doing its best to make sense of an alien world familiar to everyone in it.”
